Electronics technician for industrial engineering (m/f)

Electronics technicians for industrial engineering are responsible for problem-free power supply in factories and workshops. They make sure that motors, control systems and lighting systems are supplied with power round the clock. The wide area of responsibility of the electronics technician for industrial engineering ranges from installation, commissioning, and maintenance to the discovery and elimination of any faults or malfunctions. This presupposes extensive knowledge about power and micro-electronics. With their care and conscientiousness, they provide for safe, environmentally sound working within the company.

Prerequisites:

  • Secondary school degree
  • Inclination for trade/technical work
  • Interest in mathematics and physics
  • Ability to work in cross-departmental teams

Training matter:

  • Testing and adjustment of functions on measuring devices and open and closed loop control units
  • Mounting, installation and commissioning of power engineering plants
  • Processing of materials, cables and lines
  • Planning and checking of working procedures
  • Quality assurance, occupational safety, and environmental protection

Duration of training:

  • 3 ½ years
