PIASAN® 28 contains N in the form of nitrate, ammonium and carbamide in a very favourable ratio. Carbamide and ammonium nitrogen have a long-lasting effect and lead to an initial ammonium-biased nitrogen nutrition. Especially at low soil temperatures, e.g. for the 1st application, when the biological conversion processes in the soil are slower, nitrogen in the form of ammonia is doubly safe because it can be assimulated by the plants and is not affected by migration processes.
The comparatively low proportion of nitrate ensures rapid nitrogen nutrition, particularly in cold and inactive soils, because, in addition to the assimilable ammonium nitrogen, it is immediately available to the plant in the soil solution.
Furthermore, fertilisation with PIASAN® 28 has the additional advantage of being taken by via the leaves. Particularly in years with dry weather in the spring and summer, PIASAN® 28 is advantageous compared to solid fertilisers.
The fertilising effect of PIASAN® 28 is equal to that of other nitrogen fertilisers. This has been proved by long-term investigations in our agricultural application research facility at Cunnersdorf as well as by official experimental results.
