The use of SCR technology in future generations of vehicles will conserve the environment. Vehicles consume increasingly less diesel fuel. This reduces the quantities of exhaust gas that thus contain ever lower concentrations of pollutants. Compared to EURO 3 vehicles, the emission of particles is reduced by approx. 40 % and that of nitrogen oxides is reduced by up to 90 %.

Adblue® itself is absolutely harmless for people and the environment.
It is not a hazardous material nor a hazardous good, it is not flammable and not toxic.

In Germany, it is classified as WHC 1 according to the Federal Water Resources Act. Therefore, the storage of AdBlue® must comply with the appropriate regulations.
