Analysis
The field of analysis is committed solely to the determination of objective test results
- Testing of raw materials and supplies for quality parameters
- Determination of important quality and safety-relevant parameters within the scope of process control
- Final quality control of all products to be sold
- Environmental analysis (checking of waste water and of ground water levels, measurement of ammonia, nitrogen oxide, noise and dust emissions, assessment of tip materials)
- Determination of the composition of materials, substances and unknown samples within the scope of scheduled repairs and general maintenance of the production facilities
- Marketing-accompanying analysis concerning questions on special qualities and on the characterisation of samples
- Performance of water analyses in accordance with the requirements of the TÜV concerning the operation of the plant (untreated water, feed-water, condensates) based on the applicable DIN and DEN standards
- Development and validation of new testing procedures within the scope of the rationalisation of the laboratory work and when developing new products.
- Involvement in standardisation activities, ring and comparative examinations within the scope of method development for new products in national bodies.
- Development of special testing procedures for the characterisation of the physical-technical attributes of fertilisers (e.g. image analysis examinations concerning the roundness and coarseness of fertiliser granulate, particle measurement in melting systems, characterisation of conditioning materials, porosity measurements).
