We process personal data, which is collected when visiting our websites, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Your data will not be published by us or passed on to third parties. We will explain in the following sections which data we collect during your visit to our websites, exactly how this data is used and which rights you have as an affected person. This data protection declaration applies to all websites for which SKW Piesteritz is responsible. Our websites can contain links to the websites of other service providers. 1. Type and extent of data processing

1.1. General information

 

As a matter of principle we only process personal data of our users as far as it is required for the provision of a functioning website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users only takes place with the consent of the user. An exception applies in such cases in which obtaining consent in advance is not possible for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal provisions.

Should you want to contact us by email, we would like to point out that outside the influence of SKW Piesteritz it cannot be ruled out that the content of unencrypted emails can be viewed by third parties. Therefore we recommend sending confidential information encrypted or by post.

 

1.2. Visiting our website

 

For every visit to our website our system collects automated data and information from the computer system of the visiting computer.

 

In the process the following data can be collected:

The data will also be stored in the log files of our system. Storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place. The legal basis and purposes of this use of data result from Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation. Our legitimate interests in the use of the named personal data are to enable the use of the website (establishment of connection), system security, the technical administration of the network infrastructure and the optimisation of the website. The IP address shall only be evaluated in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure of SKW Piesteritz or for other data security reasons. Personal user profiles shall not be created. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of its collection. In the event of the collection of the data for the provision of the website this is the case when the respective session has ended. In the event of the storage of the data in log files this is the case at the latest after seven days.

1.6. Youtube

On our website we use components (videos) of the company YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Here we use the option “- extended data protection mode -” which is provided by YouTube. When you visit a site, which has an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established and in the process the content will be shown via a notification on your browser on the website. According to the information provided by YouTube, in “- extended data protection mode -” data is only transferred to the YouTube server, in particular which of our websites you have visited, when you watch the video. Contact forms are available on our websites, which can be used for establishing contact electronically. If you take advantage of this opportunity, the data which is entered in the input field will be transferred to us and stored. At the moment of sending the message, the IP address of the user as well as the date and time of the registration will also be stored. For the processing of the data as part of the sending process your consent will be obtained and you will be referred to this data protection declaration. The legal basis for the processing of the data is, with the existence of consent of the user, Art. 6 Paragraph 1 letter a of the GDPR. If you make contact with us via the email address provided, the legal basis for the processing of the data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR. If the email contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR. The processing of personal data from the input field solely assists us in the processing of the establishment of contact. In the event of establishing contact via email the required legitimate interest in this matter is also the processing of the data. The other personal data processed during the sending process aims to prevent abuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data shall be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of its collection. Regarding the personal data from the input field of the contact form and the data which has been sent by email, this is then the case if the respective conversation with the user has ended, e.g. because the requested issue has been definitively resolved.

 

 

 

1.9. Newsletter

 

On our websites there is the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter free of charge. In the process your email address, IP address of the visiting computer as well as date and time of the registration will be transferred to us. For the processing of the data as part of the registration process your consent will be obtained and you will be referred to this data protection declaration. The legal basis for the processing of the data following subscription to the newsletter by the user is, with the existence consent of the user, Art. 6 Paragraph 1 letter a of the GDPR. The collection of the email address of the user helps to send the newsletter. The data shall be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the achievement of the purpose of its collection. The email address of the user shall therefore be stored for as long as the subscription of the newsletter is active. The subscription of the newsletter can be cancelled by the affected user at any time. For this purpose there is a corresponding link in each newsletter.

 

 

1.10. Registration

 

On our website we offer users the opportunity to register by providing personal data for customer or supplier access. In the process the data is entered into an input field and transferred to us and stored. The following data is collected as part of the registration process: The registration is required in order to be able to access specific documents, which are related to the existing supply and performance contract with you and are not publicly accessible. The registration is only possible for customers and suppliers, the legal basis of the processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR. We shall store your registration data for the duration of the registration, which is in turn dependent on your supply and performance contract. In addition warranty periods and tax purposes influence the duration of storage. Which storage periods must be observed in this regard cannot be generally determined, but instead must be ascertained for the respectively concluded contracts and contract parties on a case-by-case basis.

Any use of your personal data takes place only for the purposes named and to the required extent for the achievement of these purposes. For our internal administrative purposes it can be necessary to pass on the collected data within the corporate group in compliance with data protection regulations. Transfers of personal data to government institutions and authorities only takes place in accordance with legal provisions or if the passing on is required in the event of attacks on our network infrastructure for legal or criminal prosecution. Any service providers who are used as part of the handling of tasks only receive the data necessary for the fulfilment of their tasks and are obliged to maintain confidentiality as are our own employees. Transfer to other bodies (third parties) only takes place provided it is permitted by law. Furthermore your data shall not be passed on to third parties.

SKW Piesteritz uses appropriate technical and organisational security measures in order to protect personal data which is administered by us against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorised persons.
