Rüdiger Geserick has been Chairman of the Board of SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH since February 4, 2005. Geserick's career started in 1984 at the renowned trading house Helm AG of Hamburg. Subsequently, he spent many years in Frankfurt am Main working at the listed Metallgesellschaft AG. His international experience includes long business trips to Belgium, the US and Switzerland. For eight years, Geserick has been a board member and bank manager of AWT AG, the trading house of the banking group Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG in Vienna. Born in Hamburg on March 27, 1955, Rüdiger Geserick is married with four children. In recognition of his service in the development of the Piesteritz industrial base, Geserick as the Chairman of the Board of SKW Piesteritz was awarded the Merit Cross on Ribbon, a German Order of Merit, in March 2012. Born on November 27, 1965, Carsten Franzke has been a managing director of SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH since February 2009. Since 2000, he has been directing the central finance and controlling departments.
Carsten Franzke began his career at the nitrogen plant from the bottom up. In 1982, he began an apprenticeship to become a machine maintenance worker and qualify for entrance in higher education. He then completed an apprenticeship to become an industrial clerk and studied at the Berlin Hochschule für Ökonomie.
Franzke is a sports enthusiast and pop music aficionado. He has one child.
